How to Make the First Impression
People are often interested what things are other people pay attention on at first sight. The answer can surprise you.
When the person gets into new collective after school or couple years of work, he wants to join the new environment very fast and find common language with new classmates, teachers and staff. It is the rule that it is easier to work and study among pleasant people.
According to the researches, the person needs less than 15 seconds to make the first impression. First impression stays with person forever. 80 % of people can not change this impression. Bad reputation will chase the person even if he just had bad mood during the first day.
What are the factors which people pay first attention on? First thing is the appearance, clothes and body language. Actually people can tell many things with the help of body language, so it is important to know what the gestures mean. Usually people feel the meaning of body language intuitively. The body language can express three main things:
1. Yourself. What personal features do you have? What is your self-efficacy and mental outlook? Are you sincere or not?
2. Situation. Are you satisfied with current circumstances? Do you attract other people? Are you happy and are you open for relations? It is not secret that people like to communicate with those who are happy and are always in good mood.
3. Other people and your attitude to them. If the person is glad to communicate with other people, they are glad to return his feelings. The pleasant atmosphere attracts happiness and good emotions.
It is desirable to look people in the face and smile them, it lend the credence to them. Try to communicate with people and find common language with them. Try to radiate the warmth, joy and friendliness and people will be attracted to you.
